 Pastor
Bill Morehouse

Pastor Bill and his wife Toni married in June of 1979 and have two sons, Joshua and Kevin. They also have a beautiful daughter-in-law Farrah and two grandchildren, Dylan and Kailie.

Bill was in the construction field for 30 years and owned his own framing company for 25 years. Bill became a Christian in September 1994 and that began the journey to where he is today. On September 14th 2004 Pastor Bill graduated from the London Institute for Evangelism with a Bachelor of Ministry Degree. Bill has been a member of Christ's Church of the Valley since early 2000 where he was mentored and groomed for the ministry by Dr. Rodney R. Allee who retired on October 23rd 2006. Pastor Bill is looking forward to many years of dedicated service in appreciation for all that God has done for him through His Son Jesus Christ.

 Worship Arts
Dale Lister

Dale Lister has served Christ's Church of the Valley since January 1995. He has served as choir director and praise team leader during this entire tenure. He now serves as the volunteer director of worship arts while still leading the Praise Team and directing the Worship Choir. His wife, Cheryl, serves with him as the church's keyboard player. In addition to his service at Christ's Church of the Valley, Dale serves as an eighth grade science teacher, cross country coach and track coach at Hillview Middle School in Palmdale, California.

Dale is also a member of the High Desert Runners, a local distance running club for people of all ages. He trains for and competes in local public races and he has successfully completed 6 marathons.

 Women with Purpose Ministry
Emily Vail

I was born to Christian parents and raised in church all of my life. I was taught to honor God by my life's decisions and serve Him willingly. My parents were always examples of that. I have two sisters who share these values.

My life has taken many turns along the way, not all of them the way God would have had me go. Thankfully, He loved me and worked in me to bring me back to His path. I have been blessed richly through God's provision and protection, even when I failed to be faithful.

In the past 30 years I have been widowed twice, but our Lord was there to comfort me through it all. I pray that God will use these experiences of loss to enable me somehow to be a comfort to others as Paul describes in 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4.

 Missions
Bill McFarlane

I have been a member of Christ's Church of the Valley from almost the beginning; and have served in many different areas. At the present time I am serving as director of missions. It is an extremely challenging and rewarding ministry. I had the privilege of organizing and leading our first mission trip in August to the American Indian Christian Mission. From the very start, God prepared all of us, especially me, for this trip. We were so blessed by the trip that another trip is being planned. Our congregation supports other organizations: Nino's De Baja, Colegio Biblico, Atescedero Christian Home, North American Christian Convention, Care Net, Acton Rehab, Christian Children's Fund, Hope International University and William Jessup University.

 Youth Ministry
Scott Wallace

Scott has been attending Christ's Church since 1994 and began working with the youth group almost right away, with his wife Roxann by his side. Scott and Roxann have been married since 1990 and now have two children, Cameron and Aubrey. Although Scott accepted Christ as a young child, his teen years were filled with turbulence and rebellion. But what Satan meant for evil God used to give Scott a heart for the youth. Scott has been walking with the Lord since May of 1987 and working with teens in varying capacities since 1990.

 Celebrate Recovery Ministry
Terry Pevler

Hi my name is Pastor Terry. I was an alcoholic and a drug addict for twenty-eight years. I caught six years in prison and have been in jail too many times to count, but by the Grace of God I now serve Jesus the Christ. I have been clean and sober for twelve years and have a beautiful wife named Sandra. We have both devoted our lives to helping those with all kinds of recovery needs.

We teach "The Purpose Driven Life" at Acton Rehab on Sunday afternoons from 2-4 pm. On Friday nights we teach a Celebrate Recovery 12 Step Program from 7-9 pm. Jesus is truly the Way, the Truth and the Light.

Don't let recovery be a heavy weight and come Celebrate your recovery with us. Be part of our family! (Will also do one on one counseling.)
